Merry Quaran-Christmas!

It is finally time to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, all packed into a week full of all the things that make us love Christmas so much!!

Below is the schedule I've created for the week, but you can celebrate Quaran-Christmas however you'd like! If there are other movies you love more, watch those! Or if you have any special traditions you want to include, swap it for one of the ones I added. What matters is that we can all do something fun that will fill us, and our homes, with a little bit of magic and joy.

In case you do want to follow this schedule, I've gathered up all you need to complete the activities listed above!

We will begin the week by decorating the house, and you can go as big or as little as your heart desires. We will probably do a scaled back version of our usual decor, just enough to put us in the Christmas spirit. "Jingle al the way" (available on Hulu) is my husband's favorite Christmas movie, so we chose it for the first night!

One of our favorite activities during Christmas time is "Jammy Cocoa Christmas". This is a borrowed idea from Mix & Match Mama, but to summarize it, we wear Christmas Pjs, go out to a coffee shop and get Hot Cocoa, and then drive around looking at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music.

Since we can't go out to do that, I've put together a list of some Christmas Light shows to watch from home! Get creative, pretend you are in the car, and make sure you have your hot cocoa in hand!

It is time for some baking! We will be baking cookies on this day (although if you prefer to bake something else, go for it!). I'm not a big fan of Christmas cookies, so we'll be making traditional chocolate chip cookies. I usually use the Original Nestlé Toll house recipe, but I'll be altering it a bit to make it dairy free since I can't have dairy at the moment.

We will then end the night with one of my all time favorite Christmas movie, "Love Actually" (available on HBO or you can rent it on Amazon for $3.99)

Time to get crafty! Crafts are such a fun way to pass time, and both children and adults love them. You can find a list of 25 crafts you can do with or without children here! Many of them can be done with regular things most people have at home.

I encourage you to look through the list and pick your favorite, but a couple that stood out to me are these.

If you have a baby like I do, this craft below is super cute and simple to do with them!

To end the day, we will watch another one of our favorite movies, "The Santa Clause" (available on Disney +).

To celebrate that Christmas Day is almost here, I thought it would be fun to all dress up in Christmas colors (red & green). When I asked on my stories for suggestions on Christmas activities, someone suggested a treasure hunt and I thought it was such a good idea! I found one that Play Party Plan came up with that should work for everybody (and it's free to download).

One sleep left until Christmas Day! For this day I left our schedule pretty open to do whatever feels good that day, but I did add that we must wear our Christmas PJs and watch "Elf" (available on Netflix)! We also will be reading our daugther a Christmas book, and have already decided on "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". It was the book we read her on her first Christmas Eve, but she was so little and slept through it all, so I'm excited to read it for her again!

It's Christmas Day!! We wanted the week to be all about the spirit of Christmas, not so much about the material things, so we decided we'd all just get one small present ($20 budget). We will spend the last day of Quaran-Christmas cozying up on the couch and watching our all time favorite Christmas movie, "Christmas with the Kranks" (available on Netflix) and drinking lots of hot cocoa!

Last but not least, Christmas music and hot cocoa will be a must for the whole week!

I hope you'll find this guide helpful but, once again, Quaran-Christmas is all about doing the things that bring you happiness during the best season of the year, so take what you like from here and make the rest your own. I hope to see lots of you participating and, if you do, make sure to send me pictures and tag me on you IG stories so I can see it! I'll be sharing all about our Christmas on my Instagram (@_gracenavarro_), so make sure to follow along.

Merry Quaran-Christmas, and don't forget to ask the butcher for chocolate!
